Vietnam Mission 2026

About the mission

Western Australia is built on partnership and powering global opportunities.

Vietnam, as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest growing economies, offers significant opportunities for WA businesses to expand and diversify their export markets.

From 21-25 September 2026, WA Premier, Hon Roger Cook MLA, will lead a WA Government business delegation to Vietnam to promote continued and expanded partnerships between the two regions.

The mission will include a curated program of government and industry engagements across three industry streams: energy transition, international education and primary industries.

The program will create awareness of how WA is building a State of Energy and reinforce the State’s position as a reliable and stable partner for Vietnam in the global energy transition.

This mission will also expand export opportunities for WA agricultural producers, showcase the State as a destination that offers students an immersive education experience and enviable lifestyle, and support skills and training partnerships between the two regions.
