About the mission

Western Australia's Premier Roger Cook is leading an Invest and Trade Western Australia (WA) mission to Japan in September 2025.

Western Australia: Japan Connect 2025 reinforces the importance of WA's longstanding relationship with Japan while promoting the State's capabilities in supporting the global energy transition, and attracting investment to WA.

The Premier will be accompanied by WA's Mines and Petroleum Minister David Michael and a delegation of WA industry representatives in Japan across engagements at Global Energy Week at World Expo 2025 Osaka, as well as business and government engagements across Hyogo, Nagoya and Tokyo.
