Driving a strong and diversified economy

 

The Investment Attraction Fund (the Fund) was established to encourage new investment in Western Australia that will create local jobs and contribute to a more diversified economy.  

In 2022, the Western Australian Government launched the first round of the Fund, prioritising identified projects and sectors for strategic development including energy; primary industries; defence; space; health and medical life sciences; international education; tourism, events and creative industries; and mining equipment, technology and services.  

Over 200 expressions of interest were received, and 42 organisations selected to receive $156.4 million in grant funding. See the full list of recipients below.
