Western Australia showcased as a premier study destination in Japan and Korea
Invest and Trade Western Australia’s (WA) Northeast Asia Hub recently welcomed 13 education and training providers to Japan and Korea as part of a WA Education Roadshow.
Across the two markets, the delegation connected with education agents, government representatives, school staff and prospective students to showcase WA as an ideal study destination that offers an immersive education experience and enviable lifestyle.
In both countries, the delegation participated in a WA education agent workshop and information session to promote the study opportunities and education pathways available in WA.

This was followed by a reception bringing together alumni, prospective students, education providers and industry partners to share their experiences studying in WA.

The delegation also participated in the Study Australia Education Fair, hosted by Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), in both countries, connecting with prospective students and parents interested in studying abroad.
Our Japan office provided additional support for the Fair and hosted a WA booth to further promote how Western Australia's welcoming communities and diverse economy create opportunities for students to build their future career.

Our Japan office also co-hosted WA Open Days with two schools delivering the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) curriculum. These events created further opportunities for the delegation to promote their courses and relevant WACE scholarships.

In Korea, the delegation participated in the Study Australia Roadshow, also hosted by Austrade, visiting international schools in Daegu and Jeju to promote WA’s leading edge academic courses and hands-on learning experiences in high-demand industries.
The 13 WA education providers that joined us across Japan and Korea were
